‘공동체의 위기를 극복케 하시는 하나님’   본문 관찰과 묵상      백성들이 울며 고기를 구할 때 모세는 하나님께 차라리 죽여달라고 했다.   리더가 문제를 해결하는 것이 아니다.  하나님은 70명의 지도자를 세워 협력케 했다.  그리고 한달동안 고기를 공급할 것을 약속했다.    QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      공동체의 위기는 하나님이 스스로 경륜대로 극복하게 하신다.  첫째, 그들이 마음껏 먹을 수 있는 고기 공급을 약속했다.  둘째, 모세 혼자 힘들게 사역하지 않게 70명의 나이든 장로들을 세우게 했다.   결단과 적용        내 삶에 임하는 위기는 하나님의 능력을 체험케 하시는 위장된 축복이다.   고난당하는 것이 내게 유익이다(시 119:67, 71).   고난속에서 신의 거룩한 성품에 이르게 하실 것이다.  감사드린다.            ‘God who enables me to overcome crises.’ Num 11:10-23   Observation and meditation on the text      Moses asked God to kill him because he could not provide meat to people who were wailing for it.  Leaders are not almighty God who can solve all problems.  It was God who had enabled Moses to overcome such crises by choosing 70 able leaders to help him.  Furthermore, God promised to provide the Israelites with meat for a month.    I hear the voice of the Lord through QT      God enables me to overcome any crises of faith community according to God’s administration.  First, God promises to provide me with my necessities.   Second, God will provide me with able leaders to help me to carry on my ministries.      Decisions and applications      Unexpected crises which may fall upon me is God’s disguised blessing for me to experience God’s power, not my power.   The psalmist also declared that to be afflicted was a blessing to him (Ps 119:67,71).   God will purify and sanctify me through furnace life afflictions so that I may reach divine nature of God.   I give thanks to God for my present sufferings.   

  ‘만나로 만족하지 못하면 탐욕으로 망한다’   본문 관찰과 묵상      광야에서 하나님은 매일 밤 만나를 내려주셨다.   그러나 섞여사는 다른 인종들이 탐욕을 품고 애굽에서 먹던 음식을 못 먹는다고 악한말로 원망함으로 하나님이 진노의 불을 내렸다.   QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      모세가 중보기도 드리자 불이 꺼졌다.   하나님이 주시는 은혜로 살지 않으면 탐욕이 생긴다.   하나님을 믿지 않으면 진노의 불로 망한다.   예수와 성령의 중보기도로 오늘 나는 은혜로 산다.   결단과 적용        섞여 사는 다른 인종은 누구인가?   믿음으로 하나님의 자녀가 되지 않으면 하나님을 신뢰하지 못한다.   무슨 일이 생기면 교회 안 에서 먼저 알곡과 쭉정이가 구별이 된다.   하나님의 심판은 교회 안에서부터 시작되기 때문이다 (벧전 4:17).  그러므로 오늘 고난가운데서 원망하고 불평하는 자들을 위해 나는 끝까지 예수를 전해 그 영혼들을 주님께 인도하며 살아가리라.                ‘Unless you are happy with manna, you shall destroy yourself with covetousness.’ Num 11:1-9   Observation and meditation on the text      God provided the Israelites with manna every night.  However, the rabble among the Israelites began to complain against God for manna and asked for other food they enjoyed in Egypt.  God burned and consumed the outskirts of the camp with the fire of God’s wrath.  They called the place Taberah, meant God wrath burns like fire.    I hear the voice of the Lord through QT      The fire died out when Moses prayed to God for the Israelites.   Unless I am satisfied with God’s grace, covetousness infiltrates in my heart.  Unless I trust the Lord, I shall be destroyed by God’s wrath.  Therefore, today I give thanks to the Lord because I  live by the intercessory prayers of Jesus and the Holy Spirit for me.    Decisions and applications      Who could be the rabble, the gentiles of today?  If I am not born again, I cannot trust the Lord because I am not a child of God.  When any negative things happen by the attack of the evil spirits, God differentiates grains from chaff.  God’s judgment always begins with Christians in his church first (I Pet 4:17).   Therefore, I will never stop praying for the rabbles in his church so that they may also be led to Jesus Christ to be born again by the Holy Spirit to become God’s children.                         

‘준비된 공동체는 광야에서 길 찾는다’   본문 관찰과 묵상      출애굽후 이스라엘은 시내광야에서 11개월 동안 12지파별로 군대의 조직을 마쳤다. 2월 14일부터 1주일간 유월절을 지켰다. 그러자 구름이 성막 위에서 떠나고 이스라엘은 바란 광야까지 갔다.     QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      모세는 장인 미디안 사람인 호밥에게 광야길의 눈이 되어 달라고 간청하여 동행했다. 급히 서둘지 않고 60만명의 군대조직을 마치고 유월절을 지키고 유다 지파가 앞서고 지파별로 진행했다.       결단과 적용        지파 별로 직임을 감당하며 성막 중심으로 진행했다.  언약궤가 백성 앞에서 인도하고 모든 대적을 물리쳐달라고 기도했고 멈출 때 하나님의 임재를 간구했다. 나도 오늘 하나님 중심으로 광야 길을 간다.  말씀을 들으며 순종한다. 나의 경험을 요청하는자는 돕는다.         ‘Organized community finds the way in the wilderness.' Num 10:11-36   Observation and meditation on the text      Upon Exodus from Egypt the Israelites stayed in the wilderness of Zion for 11 months to organize themselves as an army out of the 12 tribes with able males of 20 years of age.  They kept the Passover for a week from the 14th of the second month.  They set out when the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, and stopped in the Desert of Paran.   I hear the voice of the Lord through QT       Moses asked his father-in-law Hobab, the Midianite, to accompany them to be their eyes to find the right place to camp in the wilderness.  For 11 months the Israelites never set out until they completed themselves as an organized army infrastructure out of 60,000 soldiers.  After keeping the Passover, the division of the camp of Judah tribe moved first and the rest of the divisions were followed.    Decisions and applications      They set out according to the tabernacle-centered order of march as they carried their missions allocated to each tribe.  The Ark of the Covenant led the Israelites as they prayed to God to defeat their enemies while they were moving, and when they stopped, they asked God to be with them.  Today, I also keep on marching in the wilderness like daily life with God-centeredness.  As I listen to the voice of the Lord I obey God.  And I help those who ask for my advice.
