하나님은 게르손 자손 중 30세에서 50세 남성도 진영이 진행할 때 성막의 휘장, 회막과 해달의 덮개와 뜰의 휘장과 모든 기구들을 처리하고 메고 가게 했다. 감독은 아론의 막내아들 이다말이었다.

결단과 적용
하나님은 이스라엘 백성들이 진을 치고 살 때도, 진행할 때도 성막 중심의 삶을 살게 했다. 교회당에 나가서 예배 드릴때도 집에 와서, 직장에 가서도 하나님 중심으로 살아야 한다. 하나님이 세우신 리더들이 항상 점검하며 곁길로 나가지 않게 해야한다. 나는 자녀들의 삶을 항상 주목하며 겸손으로 잘 인도하며 살리라.

Observation and meditation on the text
God ordered Gershonites to have males from 30 to 50 of age to carry the curtains of the tabernacle, its outer covering of durable leather, the curtains of the courtyard on their shoulders along with all things related to the parts. Ithamar son of Aaron was appointed to oversee their works.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God ordered Merarities to have males from 30 to 50 of age to carry the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars, posts and and bases, the post of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, ropes and all equipment related to the parts. The overseer was Ithamar, who was appointed by God as a priest.
Decisions and applications
God led the Israelites to live God-centered life not only when they set up their camp around the tabernacle but also when they began to move. Not only during the worship service at church but also in my daily wherever I may be at home, at work, I am challenged to live God-centered life. Such faith communities must be overseed by God’s appointed leaders not to be astrayed. I will oversee my children’s life in humility so that they also live Jesus-centered life.
