‘자녀들에게 유산으로 남길것이 무엇인가?’
본문 관찰과 묵상
솔로몬은 자녀에게 아버지의 교훈을 마음에 새겨 순종하면 산다고 했다. 자녀가 사는 길이다. 하나님의 말씀을 잘 듣고 순종하면 하나님의 자녀인 내가 산다. 순종하는 자에게 지혜와 총명을 주시기 때문이다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
금과 은 보다 더 사모할것이 바로 지혜다. 그 지혜는 하나님의 말씀에 순종할 때 주어지는 상급이다. 지혜가 곧 하나님이다. 사모하는자를 버리지 않는다. 지킨다. 그를 높이는 만큼 나도 높임받고 영화롭게 된다.
결단과 적용
나의 설교에, 말에, 행위에 나를 자랑하고 산 것이 너무 많다. 의도적인 것이 아니었다 할지라도 부지부식간에 나의 교만이 나를 속였다. 주님만을 높이며 살리라. 주님이 지혜로 나를 지켜주심이 나를 향한 주님의 사랑이다. 그 사랑을 받아 나도 오직 주님께 영광돌리며 남은 삶을 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Solomon advised people that if children obeyed their fathers’ instructions, which should be engraved in their heart, they should live. Obedience is the only way for God’s children to live. If I hear and obey the words of God, I shall be revived because I am a child of God. God pours wisdom and discernment to the obedient.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I must desire wisdom much more than gold or silver. Wisdom is God’s reward to the obedient. Wisdom is God, and God is wisdom. God never forsakes anyone who desires God. God will lift me up as much as I lift God’s name, and I shall be honored by God.
Decisions and applications
There are so many things that I have shown off my self-righteousness in my preachings, words, and deeds in the past. Even though I did it unconsciously, my pride deceived me. I will lift the name of the Lord only. Now I unequivocally realize that it is God’s love for me to protect and keep me from the enemies by giving me his wisdom. Therefore, I will live to glorify the Lord as much as I have received his love for the rest of my life.
