‘새 사람이 새 사람을 낳는다’
본문관찰과 묵상
새 사람은 어떤 처지에서도 새 생명주신 예수님의 사랑으로 산다. 사랑, 희락, 화평, 오래참음, 자비, 양선, 충성, 온유, 절제함이 있다. 리더의 자리에 있어도 의과 공평으로 산다. 바울이 옥에 갇혔어도 성도들이 실망하지 말고 계속 기도로 깨어있게 한다. 전도할 문이 열려지기 위하여 갇힌것도 감사한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
새 사람은 지혜가 있어 어떤 처지에도 낙심치 않고 그 처지에 있는 사람들에게 전도하여 새 사람을 낳는다. 지혜로 불신자들에게 전도함을 놓치지 않는다. 내가 거듭났기에 저들이 거듭나게 돕는다. 새 사람된 사람이 새 사람을 낳는다.
결단과 적용
옥중서신을 대신 전해준 두기고와 오네시모를 골로새에도 골로새서 편지를 들려 보냈다. 새 사람이 된 그리스도인은 새 사람을 낳는다. 그리고 그 영성이 계승되게 한다. 나는 내가 나를 대신하여 낳은 새 사람을 영적 계승자로 계속 내 보내고 있는가? 2천년전에 안디옥교회가 그렇게 했다. 그리스도인을 배출했다. 오늘의 안디옥교회가 그 영성을 계승하기를 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
A new man lives by the love of Jesus because they received a new life from Jesus. A new man lives by love, joy, peace, longsuffering, mercy, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. A new man lives by righteousness and justice as a leader. Paul kept on awakening the Colossians to pray while he was incarcerated. He gave thanks to the Lord for his imprisonment because it would open a door for evangelism.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Although he is in bad situations, a new man discerns it by wisdom, and he never fails to reach out to the lost people without being discouraged. A new man can give birth to another new man. And he never miss the opportunity to witness Jesus. Since I am born again, I can help others to be born again. A new man can give birth to a new man.
Decisions and applications
Paul had Tychicus and Onesimus deliver his prison letters, and this time to Colossae too. A new man gives birth to a new man. And their spirituality passes unto others. Do I dispatch a new man as my successor to deliver the same spirituality? 2,000 years ago, Antioch Church did it faithfully. They dispatched Christians into the world. I pray that today’s Antioch Church will pass the same spirituality to the world too.
