‘내가 꼭 먹어야 할 양식은 무엇인가?’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수님은 요한의 2제자를 보고‘와서 보라’고 초청했다 (요 1:39). 빌립은 나사렛에서 뭐 좋은게 나오겠냐 했을 때 ‘와서 보라’고 했다 (요 1:46). 사마리아 여인도 마을로가서‘와서 보라, 그리스도다’했다 (요 4:29).
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
제자들이 양식을 가지고 와서 예수께 드시라 했을 때 예수는 나의 양식은 그런 것이 아니라 하나님의 뜻을 행하고 그의 일을 온전히 이루는 것이라했다(요 4:33). 밥을 않먹으면 죽을 것 같아 먹는 것 같이 추수할때가 됫는데도 내가 전도하지 않으면 않되는 양식같아서 밥은 먹지 않아도 전도한다 하셨다. 예수의 말을 직접듣고 더 많은 사람들이 예수를 그리스도로 믿었다.
결단과 적용
나는 하루에 몇끼를 먹고 사나? 밥은 꼭 챙겨먹으며 전도는 하지 않고 살지 않는가? 선교사명자 대회가 끝났다. 주여 내가 여기 있사오니 나를 보내소서 외치는 자들이 많이 나오기를 기대하며 기도한다. 주여 안디옥교회가 계속 선교적인 교회로 밥을 굶어도 전도와 선교를 굶지 않는 교회와 성도가 되게 하소서!
‘What is my food I must eat?’
John 4:27-42
Observation and meditation on the text
Jesus invited John’s two disciples, ‘come and see.’ (John 1:39). Philip invited Nathanael (Batholomew) , ‘come and see,’ when he was doubtful about any good thing would come from Nazareth (Jhon 1:46). The Samaritan woman also invited her village residents, ‘come and see, he is Christ’ (John 4:29).
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
When his disciples came back to Jesus with food and asked him to take it, Jesus said that he had food they knew nothing about. Jesus said that his food was to do the will of God and to finish his work (John 4:33). I eat food because I want to be alive. Likewise, I do evangelism as if I would die if I don’t do it when the harvest field is ripe to gather. The village people believed in Jesus much more than when they heard Christ through the woman at the well.
Decisions and applications
How many meals per day do I eat? Do I eat every meal and do not witness Jesus every day? ‘Call for missionary conference’ is over. I expect and pray so that many prospects will come out of closet as they declare, ‘Lord, here I am, send me.’ Lord, please strengthen Antioch and her congregation so that they may declare I will do evangelism, and missionary works even though I may miss my regular meal because Antioch is a missional church, and I am a missionary.
