‘보혜사는 예수의 말씀을 기억하게 한다’
본문관찰과 묵상
보혜사 성령은 나로 말미암아 예수님의 말씀을 생각나게 한다. 그래서 세상이 주는 평안과 다른 영생의 평안을 주신다. 나를 고아처럼 버리지 않으시기에 나의 처소를 마련하고 데리러 재림한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
예수는 아버지를 사랑하기에 아버지가 명하신 대로 십자가의 길을 가신다. 세상이 보고 모든 사람들이 예수는 하나님이요, 나의 죄를 대신하여 죽으시고 나의 새로운 삶을 위하여 부활의 첫 열매가 되심을 믿게 하려 하심이다.
결단과 적용
예수가 항상 나와 함께 하심이 예수의 부활의 성령, 보혜사가 내 곁에서 나를 변호하심으로 매일 체험하며 산다. 많은 어려운 일이 있어도 주님을 사랑하기에 주님가신 그 길을 오늘도 나는 말없이 담담히 간다. 주님이 보혜사 성령으로 함께 하시니 예수를 증거하며 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The Advocate, the Holy Spirit who was sent in Jesus’ name will remind me of what Jesus said to me. Therefore, I am enjoying the everlasting peace which is different from that of the world. Since Jesus promised that he would never abandon me to become an orphan, Jesus will return to take me to his place he prepared for me in the heavenly kingdom.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Since Jesus loves the Father God, he obeyed enough to take up his cross as God commanded. When people witness his crucifixion and resurrection, they will believe it is a redemptive death and resurrection for our new life because Jesus assures me that he is the first fruit of resurrection.
Decisions and applications
Everyday I am enjoying everlasting peace no matter what may happen to me because Jesus always accompanies me through his resurrected Holy Spirit, the Advocate who defends for me by standing next to me. Today in the middle of hardship and afflictions I take the way of the cross without defending myself because I love Jesus. Since the Advocate, the Holy Spirit keeps on defending for me, I simply witness Jesus Christ with assurance and boldness.
