예수의 사랑안에 거하면 예수의 말씀에 순종한다. 예수의 말씀에 순종하면 하나님의 말씀에 순종한 예수에게 기쁨이 충만함 같이 나도 기쁨충만하다. 그러면 다른 사람을 또 사랑한다. 그러면 예수의 종이 아닌 친구가 된다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
아브라함이 하나님의 친구가 되어 하나님이 행하신 일을 미리 알려주었다(대하 20:7, 사 41:8, 약 2:23). 모세도 하나님과 친구처럼 얼굴과 얼굴을 대면하여 말하였다(출 33:11). 예수의 친구가 되면 예수가 하실일을 미리 알려주신다. 예수가 나를 택하시고 친구되게 하신 것은 그의 말씀에 순종함 으로 많은 열매를 맺어 하나님께 영광돌리게 하려 하심이다.
결단과 적용
예수 사랑안에 거하면 다른 모든 사람도 사랑하게 된다. 내가 극심한 욕과 저주를 받으며 요즈음 살았지만 그들을 다 용서하며 살게 하신 주님의 사랑에 감사드린다. 예수도 배반당했는데 나는 뭐 얼마나 많겠나? 그러나 주님이 제자를 끝까지 사랑함 같이 나도 모든 사람들을 끝까지 사랑하며 살리라!

John 15:9-7
Observation and meditation on the text
If I remain in Jesus’ love, I obey Jesus words out of love for Jesus. Whenever I obey his words, I am filled with great joy as Jesus was filled with joy when Jesus obeys God’s words. Then I can easily love others. Jesus calls me his friend, not a servant.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Abraham was called as God’s friend enough to tell him whatever God should do ahead of time (II Ch 20:7, Isa 41:8, Jas 2:23). Moses talked with God face to face like friends (Ex 33:11). If I am a friend of Jesus, then he will let me know what will happen tomorrow to Jesus. Jesus has chosen me and made me his friend so that I may bear fruit to glorify God.
Decisions and applications
If I remain in Jesus’ love, I can love others. Even though I went through severe false accusations and afflictions, I praise the Lord who has enabled me to forgive all of them. How many more betrayers I may have in my life if Jesus himself was betrayed by Judas Iscariot. As Jesus loved betrayers all the way to the end, however, I will also forgive mine with the love of Jesus to the end.
