‘예수는 부활이요 생명이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수가 도착했을때는 이미 나사로가 무덤에 장사지낸지 4일이 지난때였다. 마르다가 예수께 나와 지금이라도 하나님께 구하면 기적이 일어날 것을 믿는다고 했다. 예수는 자신을 부활이요 생명이라고 선포했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
부활이요 생명인 예수를 믿는자는 죽어도 살겠고 살아서 믿는자는 영원히 죽지 않으리라고 했다. 마르다가 마리아를 불렀고 마리아가 예수께 나왔다. 마리아는 값비싼 향유를 예수의 머리에 붓고 머리털로 예수의 발을 닦은자였다. 마리아와 유대인들이 우는 것을 보시고 예수도 우셨다. 하나님의 원수인 죄와 사망을 통분히 여기셨던 것이다.
결단과 적용
죄로 말미암아 죽을 수밖에 없는 인간의 죽음앞에 모든 사람들은 울 수밖에 없다. 예수도 죄의 삯인 사망앞에 우는 인간들과 함께 우셨다. 그리고 그 사망을 뛰어넘는 부활을 통해 하나님과 예수님의 영광을 나타내시기 위하여 예수는 십자가에서 죽으셨다. 그리고 부활의 첫 열매가 되셨다. 예수를 믿어 나도 죄에 대해 죽고 의에 대해 다시 살아날 수 있는 부활의 소망을 주신 주님을 찬양한다. 나는 죽어도 다시 산다. 살아서 믿었으니 나는 영원히 죽지 않으리라! 할렐루야!

Observation and meditation on the text
When Jesus arrived at Bethany, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for 4 days. Martha confessed that even now if Jesus wanted, he could perform any miracle. Jesus declared that he was the resurrection and the life.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Jesus declared that he was the resurrection and the life, and anyone who believed in him would live even though they died, and whoever lived by believing in him would never die. Martha called her sister Mary, and Mary came to Jesus. She was the one who poured very expensive perfume on Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. Jesus wept when he saw them crying. Jesus wept because he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled due to the enemy of God, death, the wage of sins.
Decisions and applications
We cannot help but crying before the death, which is the wage of our sins. Jesus identified with us and wept with people before the death of Lazarus. However, Jesus was crucified and resurrected to glorify God through his resurrection beyond death. Jesus has become the first fruit of resurrection. I praise the Lord for his giving me hope for my resurrection by believing in Jesus as I also crucify my sinfulness with Jesus and resurrected with Jesus for righteousness. I will live again even though I die. And I will never die because I believe in Jesus as I live. Praise the Lord! Halleluiah!
