‘증거를 보지 않아도 믿어지는 믿음’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수는 8일후 도마를 위해 제자들에게 다시 나타났다. 그리고 예수의 손과 옆구리에 손을 넣어보게 했다. 도마는 예수께 나의 주요 나의 하나님이라고 고백했다. 예수는 그에게 보지않고 믿는 것이 복이있다고 했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
공관복음에는 기록되지 않은 도마의 고백을 요한복음에는 기록한 이유가 예수가 하나님의 아들, 그리스도임을 믿게 하려 함이라고 했다. 또 요한은 그 이름을 힙입어 영원한 생명을 얻게 함이라고 기록했다.
결단과 적용
나도 도마같이 증거가 있어야 믿는가 자문한다. 이눈에 아무증거 않보여도 믿음으로 예수를 믿으며 산다. 사람들은 가짜 뉴스에 잘도 속고 분노한다. 속는 영혼들이 불쌍하다. 사람들의 말에 속지 않는 이유는 예수는 어제나 오늘이나 영원히 동일하기 때문이다. 그 믿음으로 오늘을 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
For the sake of Thomas Jesus appeared to his disciples when they got together agian. And Jesus let Thomas put his finger on his hands and side. Thomas confessed that Jesus was his Lord and God. Jesus told him that those who believed him without seeing any visible proof.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
John declared that the story of Thomas which was not recorded in the Synoptic Gospels recorded in the gospel of John so that for such doubtful people as Thomas should believe Jesus was God’s son, Christ. John also declared and recorded the story so that people would be encouraged to believe in the name of Jesus so that they may receive eternal life.
Decisions and applications
I ask myself whether I believe Jesus only when I see any proof or not. I answer to myself that without having any visible proof I have been believing in Jesus by faith only. People are inclined to be deceived by fake and false news, and get mad. I have an empathy to those who are easily deceived by false proof. The reason why I am not being deceived is because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. I live my daily life with such faith.
