‘의심의 소제로 유죄여부를 판단하라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
아내가 간음한 것을 의심하면 남편이 의심의 소제, 기억의 소제를 보리가루로 제사장에게 드린다. 제사장이 성전 바닥의 먼지를 물에 섞은 쓴 물을 저주와 함께 마시게 한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
죄가 있으면 여인의 몸에 해가 생긴다. 죄가 없으면 임신하게 된다. 공동체의 영육 간의 건강은 부부의 영육 간의 건강과 직결 된다. 부부사이가 정결해야 하나님과 공동체와의 관계도 건강하다.
결단과 적용
주여, 주님의 교회가 먼저 부부사이가 영육 간에 건강하게 하소서! 부부사이가 영적으로 구별되어야 교회도 영적으로 건강합니다. 주님의 몸 된 교회가 성령으로 정결하게 하소서. 부부들이 정결하게 하소서.
‘Judge sinners by the grain offering for jealousy.’
Num 5:11-31
Observation and meditation on the text
If a husband suspects his wife of adultery, he must offer a grain offering, a reminder offering with barley flour to the priest. The priest takes a holy water and put some dust from the tabernacle floor, and let the woman stand before God and drink the bitter water that will bring a curse.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If the woman was guilty, her body should be hurt and harmed. If not, she could be pregnant. Spiritual and physical health of any faith community is directly related to that of a couple’s healthy relationship with one another.
Decisions and applications
Lord, let your church be healthy as the marital relationship of each member is healthy. If marital spiritual relationship is sanctified, then the faith community, the church shall also be healthy. Lord, let your body, the church be purified. Let all the husbands and wives be sanctified, Lord!
