‘예수의 중보기도는 무엇을 위한 기도인가’
본문관찰과 묵상
첫째, 아버지가 주신 제자들이 내 제자도 되어 그들로 말미암아 영광받았으니 저들을 보호해 주소서. 둘째, 아버지와 예수가 하나된 것 같이 믿는자들도 하나되게 하소서. 셋째, 내 속에 기쁨이 충만한 것 같이 저들도 나의 떠남에 기쁨이 충만케하소서! 넷째, 내 말씀으로 말씀 않믿는 세상의 핍박을 받으나 그 말씀으로 세상에게 거룩하게 구별되어 살게 하소서!
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
지금도 예수가 나를 위해 이렇게 중보기도 해 주심을 진심을 감사한다. 나를 구원해 영생을 주신 것으로 예수의 사역은 끝나지 않았다. 내가 세상에서 핍박받아도 끝까지 거룩하게 구별된 삶을 삶으로 주님께 영광돌리겠다.
결단과 적용
거짓 고소를 당하고 억울하게 산다. 주님처럼 입을 닫았다. 주님이 중보기도 해주시는 힘으로 끝까지 나도 성도들을 위해 중보기도자로 살겠다. 진리의 말씀으로 모든 성도들이 자유함을 얻기를 오늘도 중보기도하며 산다. 그래서 모든 성도들이 하나님과 예수가 하나됨같이 하나되기를 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
First, Jesus prays to protect believers because he was glorified by them whom God has given him and has become his servants. Second, Jesus prays that all believes should be united as Jesus has been united with his Father God. Third, Jesus prays for his disciples so that they may be filled with the same joy Jesus enjoys because of his departure. Fourth, Jesus prays that his disciples may be consecrated and sanctified in the unbelieving world by Jesus’ words, which is the Truth, even though they may be afflicted and hated by the world.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I give thanks to Jesus for his praying for me right now. In other words, Jesus’ ministry never ends with his saving and giving me everlasting life. Therefore, I will glorify Jesus by living a differentiated, sanctified life as his disciple even in the middle of afflictions and false accusations.
Decisions and applications
Nowadays, I have been living as I am unfairly treated due to false accusations. However, as Jesus remained in silence in such situations, I also follow Jesus’ way. Since I have been strengthened by Jesus’ intercessory prayers, I will also live as such an intercessory prayer worrier like Jesus my Lord. Today I pray that all church members may live in total liberty by the words of Jesus, the Truth. I pray that as Jesus is united with God all church members may be united instead of being separated from one another.
