‘언약백성의 정체성은 유월절을 지킴으로’
본문 관찰과 묵상
1월 14일부터 1주일간 지키는 유월절은 하나님의 은혜로 구원 받은 자들이 드리는 특권이다. 죄 지은자, 여행 중에 있는자도 한달 후에 드리면 된다. 외국인도 유월절을 지킴으로 하나님의 백성이 된다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
어린양 예수 그리스도의 보혈의 은혜를 믿어 죄 사함을 받은 사람은 죄인이든지, 이방인이든지 다 하나님의 언약백성이 된다. 가나안을 향해 달려가지만 유월절을 지키기 위해 일주일간 걸음을 멈추고 하나님이 주신 구원의 은혜를 회복하면 더 잘 달릴수 있다.
결단과 적용
나의 삶이 지금 정지된 것 같다. 육신도 점점 쇠약해지고 마귀의 영적 공격으로 공동체도 아프다. 잠깐 정지된 삶은 하나님이 주시는 유월절을 다시 회복하라는 stop sign이다. 유월절 어린양으로 말미암아 구원받은 첫사랑을 회복하면 된다. 다시 회복될수 있다. 이것이 모두에게 교훈이 됨을 깨달으면 복이다.

Observation and meditation on the text
It was the privilege for God’s children to keep the 7 days of the Passover from Jan 14th because it was the festival for the people who were saved by the Lamb of the Passover. Even some who were not qualified to participate in the festival for the reason of their uncleanness ceremonially or away on the journey, they could keep the Passover one month later. Furthermore, any foreigner could keep the Passover by believing the truth that they were saved by the grace of the Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, then, they could become children of God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
It didn’t matter whether they were sinners or foreigners, by keeping the Passover they could become the covenantal children of God. By believing in the grace of the blood of Jesus Christ who was the Passover Lamb anyone can be God’s children. If they stopped to keep the Passover for a week while they were hurrying themselves to go to Canaan, it was not a waste of time. They could reach Canaan faster by restoring their faith in Jesus Christ through the Passover.
Decisions and applications
My life seems to be halt due to my health problem. My faith community seems to be suffering by being attacked spiritually by Satan. However, this stop sign is a clear cut message of God for all of us to restore the grace of the Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ. We have taken God’s grace through the Lamb for granted. If I restore my joy of salvation through the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ, it is worthwhile for me to go through such sufferings and afflictions. Faith community can be restored a new, if everyone realizes God’s will. Then our sufferings will be transformed to God’ blessings.
