‘구약의 나팔소리는 신약의 말씀이다’
본문 관찰과 묵상
은나팔 2개를 불면 회중이 모여 출발하는 신호다. 하나만 불면 천부장이 모이는 신호다. 전쟁에 나갈 때는 크게 나팔을 불면 하나님이 기억하시고 구원하신다. 절기 때도 나팔을 불면 하나님이 기억하신다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내가 언제 앞으로 전진하고 언제 전쟁을 하고 언제 하나님 앞에 나가 예배 드려야 하나는 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 순종하면 된다. 즉, 구약의 나팔소리는 하나님의 말씀이다.
결단과 적용
QT를 통해 내가 언제 어떻게 무엇을 하여야 할지 말씀의 나팔로 나를 깨워 알려주신다. 말씀이 없으면 나는 깨우침이 없다. 하나님의 말씀을 가까이 함이 나의 복이다 (시 73:28).

Observation and meditation on the text
2 silver trumpet sound was the signal for the Israelites to set out. 1 silver trumpet sound was the signal for the heads of the clans to get together. Sound the blast on the trumpet when they went into battle against an enemy, then God would remember and save them. God would remember them when they blow trumpet at the festivals too.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If I hear the voice of the Lord and obey, then I will understand when I must march forward, go into the battle, and to worship God. In other words, the sound of the trumpet in the OT is the word of God in the NT.
Decisions and applications
Whenever I do my QT, God awakens me with the trumpet sound of the living word of God when and how and what I must to. Without the living word of God, there is no understanding of God’s will for me. Therefore, to get closer to the living word of God is blessing (Ps 73:28).
