‘죄를 죽여야 나와 공동체가 산다’
본문 관찰과 묵상
나의 죄는 하나님과 원수가 되게 한다. 유다의 죄는 하나님을 진노케 하였다. 하늘에 불로 뼛속까지 고통당했다. 그물에 잡힌 물고기처럼 살았다. 멍에 맨 자처럼 묵였다. 술틀속에서 짓밟힘 받듯 무자비한 바벨론에 망하였다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
위로자없이 불결한 죄인 취급을 받으며 예레미야는 울 수밖에 없었다. 사방에는 적들만 있었다. 이처럼 죄는 나로 망하게 한다. 불결한 사람 취급받는다. 하나님을 무시하면 이렇게 무시당한다. 죄를 죽여야 내가 산다.
결단과 적용
죄는 위험성이 있다. 죄를 미워하고 박멸하며 살아야 한다. 그러면 나와 나의 가정, 교회 나라가 산다. ‘육신의 정욕으로 살면 반드시 죽는다. 성령으로 육의 행실을 죽이면 산다. 성령의 인도함을 받고 살아야 하나님의 성숙한 자녀, 테크나가 아닌 휘오스로 산다’(롬 8:13-14).

Observation and meditation on the text
My sin causes me to become an enemy to God. Judah’s sins provoked God’s wrath. By his fire, they suffered to the bones. They lived in captivity like fishes in a net. They were heavily bound by the yokes on their shoulders. They were trampled by the merciless Babylon as if the they were grapes in the winepress.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
There was nothing but to cry for Jeremiah when he witnessed Judah being treated as unclean sinners. They were surrounded by enemies. Likewise, my sins make me desolate. And I shall be treated like an unclean sinner. If I despise the Lord, God will disdain me. If I want to live, I must die to my sins.
Decisions and applications
Sin is dangerous. Therefore, I must destroy sins to live. Then, me and my family and community shall be revived. ‘If you live according to flesh, you will die; but by the Holy Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Holy Spirit of God are the children of God.’(Rom.8:13-14). I shall become a mature Christian, uhios, not teknah who are immature children of God.
